i think it is necessary to note just what i mean
about religion.
to me, there is a distinct difference between
natural mysticism and industrialized religion.
i have no problem with mystical faith-based
applications to behavior and ethic because the
faith/beliefs are grounded in nature... and
therefore revolve around a certain scientific
truth.
however, industrialized religion (such as
xtianity) have foundations in a more detached
faith... opening up a god figure with a death of
a thousand qualifications.

Well...I guess you're right. When it comes to mystism...I'm assuming you're talking about Paganism and Wicca...then I gotta agree. Paganism never hurt anyone...neither did a real Wiccan. Quite the contrary actually. I tried Wicca for a few years, then decided to experiment with Paganism, and of the two, I have to say Paganism was more interesting of the two. But, before, I suppose I got worked up over the bad religions and forgot about the good ones which promote natural living and the communing with nature. Ok...I take my previous statement about all religion being icky back. *pets Paganism and Wicca* I sorry widdle buddies...But I STILL think that Christianity and most major religions suck!

Oh wait...I forgot...didn't some Paganistic groups sacrifice people in bogs? If that's the case, then maybe they did get hurt! But...oh well, on the most part, I believe they were willing sacrifices. If anyone knows for sure, please correct me if I'm wrong because I honestly cannot remember...

i think the problem comes when people impose
superhuman phenomenon into nature... such as:
lightning is caused by X when X is angered
what is more appropriate would be:
lightning is caused by an unknown source, however,
i see the effects of lightning and respect its
power
it is because of situation A that makes humans
react to other humans in a foul manner. it is
the superimposing of an entity beyond
what can be experienced that causes the problems.
